Il Fischietto (The Whistle) was a satirical magazine founded in Turin in 1848 by the illustrator Lorenzo Pedrone (Icilio) and the typographer Giuseppe Cassone, published, with varying frequencies, until 1916. It is considered the most important Italian satirical magazine of its time.
